GRACIE BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is widely regarded as the single most effective martial art. Students will learn both self defense and sport jiu-jitsu techniques. In addition, classes will focus on improving physical conditioning and improving flexibility.
SITYODTONG MUAY THAI KICKBOXING
Sityodtong Muay Thai kickboxing classes are designed to introduce students to striking for Mixed Martial Arts. Students will build a strong foundation by learning the basic strikes and combinations using all eight limbs: hands, legs, elbows, and knee.
WOMEN'S MARTIAL ARTS
The women's martial arts program was created for women by women. The women's only classes are focused on teaching authentic Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for self-defense and fitness. Many students in the program are new to the sport, so it's designed to support beginners as well as the advanced.
Having a complete game--from takedown to submission--is critical to success in martial arts. Add wrestling to your toolbox. Taught once a month in a workshop format by Chicago MMA Fight Team member, Eddie T (collegiate wrestler and MMA fighter). Wrestling workshops will introduce students to the fundamentals of wrestling. Students will learn about positioning, movement, setups, takedowns, and defense.
(AGES 4-5 and 5-9)
Created by Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belts, the youth program will teach students the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. Each class will introduce students to new techniques and concepts, building a foundation for a lifetime of learning and fun. Also, under the expert instruction of our highly trained staff, students will learn valuable life skills to be successful both on the mat and off. Each lesson will incorporate valuable lessons in teamwork, leadership, and excellence. In addition, students will learn street safety and bully prevention tips, tactics and strategies through our STREET SAFE program. We strive for and expect excellence from all our students. Our ultimate goal is to help create better people and citizens.
Youth PROGRAM (AGES 9 - 13)
Our youth program is designed to introduce students to more technical training, including drilling, grappling, and more advanced techniques. Based in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the curriculum will teach both sport jiu-jitsu and self-defense. Additionally, students will learn Muay Thai, boxing, and wrestling to provide a complete Mixed Martial Arts training experience.
